so many thoughts lately and seemingly no time to capture them.

life has a way of happening at times to where it's just better to take it in and live in it than try to communicate all that is stirred up or going on.  that's where i've been. constantly making decisions and re-evaluating the steps i am walking. much anticipation and hope for the coming of the new year.  many desires.  many uncertainties.  many...who knows whats.  new dreams and old dreams joining hands and finding new ground together.  less fragmented. still afraid of...things, of people, of learning and of growing.  but some days more prepared to face those fears and allow them not definition over me.  and so i take another step.

Hey friends,

The blog revisions continue.  In an effort to chronicle conversations and thoughts around the integration of arts in the places where I find residence, there is another blog.  Yes, I said it, another blog.  But actually, more accurately, it's the revision of a pre-existing blog...so nothing new, really.  I promise.  Just some revising.  So, the other space will be dedicated to exploring thoughts around art and faith (and worship and God and living fully into humanity), art and seminary, art and breath...and the inseparable art and everything else...is there anything else?...while this xanga will remain a fantastic place to keep up on life with friends from all over.  The other address is http://grabarczykj.blogspot.com.  See you there.

peace.  jen .

as for other life...

it still feels like winter in seattle...ohio winter in seattle, but the roads are a bit better.  i don't know what this city will do if there are more bursts of wintery weather like yesterday...it's just not possible to get around with all of these hills.  i'm starting to appreciate the mad skills of midwest drivers more...props to you, friends.  you know how to take the snow.  but even you, skilled drivers, couldn't handle queen anne ave...

for studio news...rebecca, scott, and i will be re-locating to a new space some time over the next month.  it will be bittersweet to leave the space that we have been in, and though we're not really sure what's to come, i sense some beautiful things on the horizon.  something is going on here...

classes cancelled today due to SNOW.  i thought this would never happen out here, but alas, it did. and alas, it took 3 of us 4 1/2 hours to make it home last night from school.  that's normally a 25-minute drive.  We could have gone to portland...or vancouver...or if i was in the midwest, from toledo to grand rapids...in less than it took us to get home from bothell.

as painful as that was, i was in good company.  cheers to long unecessary road trips that are more like sitting on the road trips.
